The Basics

ArtsyType is the web design, development, and graphic design studio of me, Emilie Schweiger. I'm an artist and a computer science major so I have a strong understanding of both sides in web development, the design and the technical side of things. I also realize that many people don't have much knowledge when it comes to this field, and I'm pretty good at explaining everything in layman's terms.

Web Design & Development

I’ve been working in web design for 5 years now with a broad range of projects under my belt. These projects range from small business websites, to an online newspaper, several forum systems, online storefronts, and even a couple browser games.

Graphic Design

I also do other design work, like business cards, posters, and logo design. I’ve worked on the local university newspaper as their layout & photo editor, creating most of their front page images, all of their graphs, and designing their sudoku puzzles.
